Royal Rangers

Royal Rangers is the largest international scouting program in the world! It is designed to challenge the physical, spiritual, mental and social needs of boys and young men ages S through 18. The goal is to train boys to assume their place of leadership as followers of Jesus Christ. Our motto is to reach, teach and keep boys for Christ. We recognize that the boys we reach today will be the leaders tomorrow! Dedicated leaders, called Commanders, direct weekly outpost meetings which include Bible study, instruction, demonstrations, patrol corners, advancements, and recreation.

Ranger Kids: Kindergarten

Kindergarten Rangers Kids is a non-reading program which uses a wildlife theme to introduce boys to the Royal Ranger Program. Kindergarten boys earn five advancements on the Trail of the Elk. Weekly activities include Bible lessons and recreation while they earn additional merits such as Map, Strong Body, Church History, and Crafts.

Discovery Rangers: Third, Fourth and Fifth Grades

Discovery Rangers is a new curriculum for third, fourth, and fifth grade boys. Boys will earn Orange Bible Merits, Blue and Red Skill and Interest Merits as they achieve the Trail to the Gold Falcon, Gold Hawk and Gold Eagle Medals. There are opportunities for boys to have fun while developing leadership skills by participating in patrols, campouts, pine-car derbies, outdoor activities, Bible Study and Christian Service.
Adventure Rangers: Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Grades

Adventure Rangers is a new program for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade young men. Adventure Rangers complete advancement ratings and merits along the Trail from Recruit through the Bronze and Silver Medals and on to the Gold Medal of Achievement, the highest achievement earned in the Royal Rangers Program. Adventure Rangers will enjoy campouts, outings, patrols, and Bible Study as they continue to develop leadership skills, self confidence, lasting friendships and Christian character.
Expedition Rangers: Ninth through Twelfth Grades

A program for young men in high school, Expedition Rangers offers opportunity to exercise developing leadership and gifts through Christian Service, ministry events, discussion and Bible Study. Additionally, for the young man interested in further Royal Ranger activities, there is a challenging advancement system. Expedition Rangers participate in District and National Junior Leadership Camps, Canoe Camps, High Rope Adventures, Black Powder and many other training areas.
Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship

Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship is a national fellowship which promotes pre-1840 authentic frontier traditions and skills. Highly visible at District and National Royal Ranger Campouts, Frontiersmen dress, camp and demonstrate pioneer skills. As a Frontiersman, you will be involved in 1812 battle re-enactments, develop a trade of the old West and lead Council Fires at the District and National Pow-wows. The Trail of the Grizzly merits prepare you for the FCF recruit status. This Ministry Tool is for Commanders and young men who are over the age of 12, interested in developing these skills, and achieve the eight merits of the Trail of the Grizzly.
