Prime Timers

Come be a part of the Seniors Ministry at Grace! Since February of 2008, the Prime Timers have been meeting and growing under the leadership of Bob Sally. Bob's heart is conveyed in the group's mission statement: The purpose of the Grace Prime Timers Ministry is to connect the Seniors at Grace to one another and provide an opportunity to develop our relationship with God while equipping the saints to be all God wants us to be.

The term "seniors" has different meanings for different people. Some churches set 55 as a minimum age; some set 60. AARP says you're a senior if you are 50. At Grace there is not a set minimum age for participating in the activities for the Prime Timers. We believe that the name Prime Timers is significant because according to God's word we are all in our prime as we follow the plan He has for us. Whatever your age, if you would like to be involved, come and join us in one of our regularly scheduled events:

The Prime Timers have a monthly luncheon/fellowship each 3rd Friday of the month at 11:30am in Room 150. This includes a pot blessing meal with plenty of food, and a different program each month with fellowship afterwards. This is a great way to get acquainted and make new friends at Grace. Also, the group also has day and overnight trips, table game nights, outreach programs, and other fun activities that will give folks an opportunity to use the gifts and talents God has given them.

If you would like more information or would like to participate in the Grace Prime Timers, please call the Grace office at 972.724.7223.
